TeachFirst is one of the most powerful, impacting charities in the UK. Its mission is to build quality through education. Education in the UK suffered from a fundamental issue: income defines how well children do at school. Even worse so, this inequality is a problem that is entirely solvable.

Every young person has a right to pursue their ambitions. TeachFirst have helped solve this issue by putting high quality teachers in areas where they are most needed.

Where I came In

TeachFirst need to get more great teachers in the schools where they’re needed and create schools where teachers and pupils can thrive. I was brought in to help to reevaluate the acquisition strategy to recruit teaching graduates into the schools. This was a new strategy to reignite and reinvigorate the current marketing campaign.

The Process

Firstly, I performed a marketing audit to evaluate the current marketing strategy, tactics, organisational structure and infrastructure.

Recommendations on the former were then given to the senior team.

I also worked collaboratively with the director of communications and marketing. Subsequently, I then began coaching the team core skills to empower marketing organisation to deliver on the goals set.

The Results
